Founded in the 1960s as The Edward H. Merrin Gallery, Inc. by its namesake, The Merrin Gallery, Inc. changed its designation in the 1980s to mark its second generation; it is currently under the leadership of President Samuel Merrin and Moshe Bronstein. Recognized as the foremost gallery of pre-Columbian art and one of the leading galleries in antiquities of Egypt, the Near East, and classical cultures, the Merrin Gallery continues to “place” objects in private and public collections, worldwide.

Due to long-established relationships with private clients, Samuel Merrin has access to many of the collections his father helped form, bringing hidden masterpieces to the market. In addition to building collections, Mr. Merrin is often called upon to offer his expertise in matters of authenticity, quality, and indemnifications for museum exhibitions.

Connoisseurship, scholarship, market knowledge, and discretion are all hallmarks of The Merrin Gallery’s approach.
